HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ITEMS TO ARRIVE?

It takes exactly 14 days from the date of sailing for items to arrive in Grenada.

ARE THERE EVER ANY DELAYS?

Delays are not customary but may on occasion occur due to Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) requirements, carrier failures or weather conditions; it is therefore advised that a week or two be considered in addition to standard shipping time in case of unexpected delays.

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED FROM SHIPPING?

Items prohibited includes plants, animals, nuclear material, radiation emitting devices, hazardous material, controlled or restricted drugs, narcotics, gas, oil, propane and explosives.

CAN I TAKE MY CARGO TO THE WAREHOUSE?

Sure, just call ahead to arrange a time for drop off. Someone will be on hand to receive your goods.

CAN I HAVE ITEMS PICKED UP DIRECTLY FROM STORES AND OTHER OUTLETS?

Yes, be sure to communicate clearly between our office and the store, the date and time of pick up. You will also need to provide our office with a copy of the receipt of purchase.

HOW SOON CAN MY ITEMS BE PICKED UP AFTER BOOKING?

Items are usually collected within one to three days after booking.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SEND A BARREL?

It cost $75.00 CAD per barrel.

DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR PICK UP?

If you are outside of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) a small fuel charge will be added to your bill.

CAN I HAVE MY ITEMS SHRINK WRAPPED?

Yes, just be sure to mention it to the personnel collecting your items.

CAN I HAVE MY ITEMS PROFESSIONALLY WRAPPED?

For only $5.00-$15.00 CAD you can have your items professionally packaged, considerably reducing the risk for damage during shipping.

WHAT IS A BILL OF LADING AND DO I NEED ONE?

A bill of lading is a contract between the freight carrier and shipper that is required to ship items from one place to another, it allows for the proper processing and invoicing of the shipment. You may need a bill of lading as proof that your items are indeed being shipped, to avoid certain taxes at the place of purchase, to provide evidence to the Government or port authority for tax reduced goods and as a returning resident.

CAN I COLLECT MY ITEMS IN GRENADA IF SHIPPING PAYMENT IS OUTSTANDING?

Goods are only released if and when all outstanding payments are made. There is an extended 10 days allocated from the pickup date for the payment of any outstanding amounts.

DOES MY FAMILY IN GRENADA NEED A RECEIPT TO COLLECT DOCUMENTS?

The receipt is for your records and is not requisite for collecting documentation.

DO I GET MY SHIPMENT AS SOON AS THE CONTAINER ARRIVES IN GRENADA?

On arrival of the shipping vessel to Grenada, containers are unloaded from the vessel unto the port. An appointment will be set between our office and the port for unpacking the container(s); a process termed Stripping, during that process a representative from our office and the port authority will be on hand to tally all the pieces and match it against our records, once the ALL CLEAR is given by the port, you can receive your documents at our office for the collection of items at the port.

You must first collect documents at our office, your shipment will be collected at the port in St. George’s

DO I HAVE TO PAY WHEN COLLECTING ITEMS IN GRENADA?

There is a charge for paperwork; $35.00 EC for two or less items and $50.00EC for three to five pieces, six or more pieces and extremely large items are charged accordingly.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PACK A BARREL?

Be sure to pack closest to the front or back door, or in your garage. Avoid basements, attics and backrooms

We sure do, call and inquire, we’ll walk you through the simple process.

WHAT DO I NEED TO SHIP A VEHICLE?

Ensure that there are no outstanding payments on the vehicle and have the vehicle ownership on hand.

CAN I HAVE ITEMS SENT DIRECTLY TO A HOME IN GRENADA?
